  • Package Includes:
    2 Spinning Brushes
    2 Filters
    Remote Control
    2 Aaa Batteries
    Charging Base And Cord
    Cleaning Tool

Design & Features

Featuring a rather simple yet sleek design, the iLIFE A4s comes with a bumper for additional protection, with the filter and dust bin at the base of the unit. Underneath, you will find a pair of charging pins, the spinning brushes, and the roller brush. The pair of spinning brushes affords a far better reach, especially at the corners, which are always difficult for circular vacuums.

Weighing around five pounds, iLIFE A4s boasts the perfect weight to climb over debris and floor barriers, as well as carpets, without though knocking items off of furniture in case of bumps. Besides, it is also equipped with a wall detection feature.

The remote control proved great, easy to handle and highly efficient, greatly improving manoeuvrability.

One of the best things with iLIFE A4s is its numerous cleaning modes, five to be exact, namely Mini-Room, Edge, Spot, Scheduled, And Auto Cleaning, all of which involve a three-stage process: sweeping dust and debris, rolling it up into the vacuum and sucking them in.

Each mode, of course, has its own merits: Edge, for example, is designed to focus on the edges of the room, Spot drives over the same spot again and again, while Mini-Room will make sure that a single room, with the door shut, will be properly cleaned.

Highly manoeuvrable, A4s is also designed to return to its charger and recharge when the battery gets low – a handy feature that makes sure you will have it ready for use whenever you need it.

Noise level is around 54 dB, which makes it detectable from an adjoining room, but you could hardly describe it as annoying or irritating. If you live in an apartment though, you certainly cannot use it during quiet hours.

  • Great price
  • Solid performance
  • Numerous cleaning modes
  • Remote control
  • Just the basic features
  • No Wi-Fi connection

Our Opinion

Affordable, with all the basic features and great efficiency, ILIFE A4s will cater to your hoovering needs and save you plenty of time and energy for your daily chores.

2. Coredy R500 Robot Vacuum Cleaner – The Affordable Option

Coredy Robot Vacuum Cleaner

Coredy R500 is our next easy-to-afford pick, noted for its robust construction, straightforward handling, and powerful suction.

At a Glance

  • Brand: Coredy
  • Model Number: R500+
  • Weight: 4.32 kg
  • Dimensions: 32.5 x 32.5 x 7.2 cm
  • Power/ Wattage: 28 watts
  • Noise Level: 60dB
  • Runtime: 120 minutes
  • Dust Box Capacity: 0.5L
  • Suction: 1500 Pa
  • Special Features:
    Mopping Function
Sensitive Obstacle & Anti-drop Sensor Technology
    Pre-set Daily Cleaning Schedule
    Remote Control
    Boundary Strip Supported
  • Included in the Package
    4 x Side Brushes
    Extra Filter
    Remote Control
    Cleaning Brush
    Charging Dock
    AC Adapter
    User Manual

Design & Features

With a simple and pretty sleek design, Coredy R500 is equipped with a robust cell that will protect its interior during bumps and slams against walls and furniture – even though it has a perfectly efficient wall and obstacle detection system.

Being a bit shorter than most of its competitors – albeit of the same weight and diameter – it will easily move under most of your furniture for a thorough sweep. Because of its circular shape, corners will never be its forte, but that’s a standard-issue will all robot vacuums. Needless to say, the vacuum itself will return in its charger-base when the battery gets low.

The included remote control, if you don’t want to use the buttons on the unit itself, is easy to handle and very responsive, allowing you not just to manoeuvre it but also to set your preferred cleaning mode and schedule. This last one is, in fact, one of the greatest features in Coredy R500, allowing you to set a specific cleaning time every day and just return home and fine the floor and carpet shining clean.

Features-wise, aside from the cleaning schedule, Coredy R500 offers just the basic, but they are more than enough for your standard sweeping and hoovering needs.

When it comes to cleaning performance, R500 did more than expected, having just a bit of trouble with high pile carpets – which is difficult though for most vacuums except for these Carpet Cleaners. Manoeuvrability is top-notch, despite the fact that it lacks mapping features and cannot memorise the floor plan of the room. With a running time of around 120 – 140 minutes, it will have plenty of time to complete the job and return to its base for recharging.

  • Great price
  • Efficient, strong suction
  • Easy to use
  • Long run time
  • Cleaning schedule
  • High pile carpets are not its forte with certain types of debris

Our Opinion

With its strong performance and great price as its banner, the Coredy R500 Robot Vacuum Cleaner will certainly be fun to use, even when you are not actually at home!

3. Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S – Taking it Up a Notch

Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11S Robot Vacuum Cleaner
View on Amazon

Being one of the most popular mid-range robot vacuums in the market today, the Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11s takes it up a notch in terms of features. Let’s check it out.

At a Glance

  • Brand: Eufy
  • Model: AK-848061047097
  • Weight: 2.6 Kg
  • Dimensions: 44.5 x 40.5 x 12 cm
  • Noise Level: 55 dB
  • Runtime: 100 minutes
  • Dust Box Capacity: 0,6 L
  • Suction: 1500 Pa
  • Special Features:
    Obstacle & Anti-drop Sensor Technology
    Pre-set Daily Cleaning Schedule
    Remote Control

Design & Features

Nothing really notable is to be said about the overall design of the BoostIQ RoboVac 11S, which is scarcely a bad thing. Set up is pretty simple too, and the remote control is in line with the rest of the unit – responsive, easy to use, lightweight, with well-positioned buttons. The main unit is slim and short enough to tuck under most of the furniture and its weight is just perfect for the job.

Its cleaning efficiency is far above average, provided of course you follow the instructions and tuck away any protruding cables and things. Even in heavy loaded floors, it swelled and didn’t miss a thing, except of course from the usual blind points in the corners. Boasting a suction of 1500Pa, coupled with a BoostIQ Technology, which it automatically increases suction power whenever needed, it will sweep and hoover swiftly and efficiently, even on hard flooring and high pile carpets.

Unfortunately, it lacks a mapping feature and may hover over the same points again and again. The good thing is that it is pretty quiet – not silent, but quiet. Other standard technology, like the auto-return for recharge and obstacle sensor technology, performed well too.

Battery runtime isn’t that impressive – around 100 minutes – but it will do for most houses and apartments. You get a cleaning schedule feature, which means it will clean the house whenever you set it even if you are absent. This feature is great if you return home at quiet hours and you cannot use the vacuum because of the noise. The 11S will have the job done long before you come home.

Some have commented that a smartphone app would be much better than a remote control – which is not an absurd idea, but personally, I think it would add nothing to the vacuum’s efficiency, manoeuvrability or performance. The lack of mapping is more serious; it could sky-rocket its effectiveness, but it would probably affect the price too.

  • Slim
  • Value for money
  • Easy setup
  • Great cleaning
  • It lacks a mapping functionality

Our Opinion

Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 11s excelled in cleaning and proved its worth even in the hardest possible floor surfaces. It could use a mapping technology, but, at this price, it offers more than expected in terms of features and efficiency.

4. Bagotte BG600 Robot Vacuum Cleaner – Taking it Up Two Notches

Bagotte BG600 Robot Vacuum Cleaner

A truly great robot vacuum cleaner, at a price that is more than fair, the Bagotte BG600 offers more than just the basic features, promising (and delivering) an excellent performance!

    Sweeping – Vacuuming
    Auto Clean, Dock and Recharge
    Sensitive Obstacle and Anti-dropping Sensor
    Pre-set Daily Cleaning Schedule
1” Thickness to Clean under Furniture
    Remote Control

Design & Features

Bagotte BG600 has grasped the essence of what a robot vacuum cleaner is all about – easy to use, efficient cleaning, time and energy saving.

Featuring an extra slim design, Bagotte BG600 will effortlessly slip under almost any piece furniture, without scratching its sensitive finish or knock off any object from it, due to its highly sensitive sensors. Equally impressive is its cleaning efficiency, mastering a suction of 1500Pa and an intelligent infrared technology, it will move graciously around the house, stay away from staircases (since it has a dedicated anti-fall detector) and sweep and hoover any kind of dust, dirt and debris.

Bagotte BG600 comes equipped with 6 cleaning modes, each designed to cater to typical household cleaning needs and circumstances, including single room, spot, edge, and auto cleaning, as well as max power vacuuming cleaning (for tough surfaces, such as high-pile carpets) and cleaning schedule, which makes sure you will find your floor bright and clean when you come back to home from work.

Use couldn’t be simpler: one-touch activation, a 3-stage cleaning process, and remote that allows you to fully control the unit from the comfort of your house, in case you don’t want to use the auto mode. Smartphone lovers will not have a problem with this one too since it allows the user to turn their mobile device into a handy remote control.

Equipped with a 2600mAh Li-ion battery, Bagotte BG600 will operate without a stop for around 100 minutes, instantly returning for recharge as soon as the energy level reaches a critical point. Recharging takes around 5 to 6 hours. Another great trait is its extremely quiet operation, barely exceeding 40 dB and breathing a humming, almost hypnotising sound.

  • Great features pack for the price
  • Remote control & smartphone functionality
  • Pre-set daily cleaning schedule
  • Nothing at this price!

Our Opinion

Indeed, the Bagotte BG600 is an excellent pick for those who demand efficiency, strong suction, problem-free operation and a couple of extra features.

5. Eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 30C – The “Smarter” Choice

We have already seen Eufy’s RoboVac 11S; RoboVac 30C is its… much smarter brother… Picked by PCMag too!

  • Brand: Eufy
  • Model Number: AK-848061046786
  • Weight: 2.7 kg
  • Dimensions: 32.5 x 32.5 x 7.2 cm
  • Noise Level: 60 dB
  • Runtime: 100 minutes
  • Dust Box Capacity: 0.6 L
  • Suction: 1500 Pa
  • Special Features:
    2nd Generation BoostIQ Technology
    Remote control
    Smartphone app

Design & Features

Featuring the standard circular shape, with an oval power button at the top beside the blue Wi-Fi indicator, RoboVac30C stands out for its low profile (no more than 2.85’’), which allows it to move freely under most of your furniture. The sides are equipped with two tri-spoked brushes, with a small roller brush at the centre. Will versatile and efficient during operation, this one proved a bit more difficult to clean after a few uses.

The dustbin comes off easily, while the charging station smoothly hags the vacuum without violent movements that could damage the sensors. Generally speaking, the RoboVac 30C is much “smarter” than its sibling. You can easily control it through its remote control, which is highly responsive and aptly equipped with all needed buttons, or via the EufyHome app, installable to both Android and iOS and very easy to use. You will have no trouble in connecting the RoboVac 30C to any home network and to the app itself. Note that you can also control the unit through Alexa and Google Assistant.

When it comes to performance, RoboVac 30C comes with four cleaning modes, namely Automatic, 30-Minute, Spot and Edge, as well as a schedule cleaning feature, activating the unit at a specific pre-set time every day, even when no one is at home. with a battery runtime of 100 minute – which is neither impressive nor inadequate -, RoboVac 30C features a bumper and drop sensors, allowing you to leave it out of sight and tend to other chores or business, without worrying of it being damaged or causing a havoc inside the house – provided of course that the floor is clear from cords and cables.

While we had no issues with its overall cleaning performance, manoeuvrability and efficiency, RoboVac 30C was a bit noisy – reaching around 60 dB, while the nominal claim of the manufacturer was 55 dB. Still, we didn’t find the noise distracting in any way, but it could disturb a neighbour when operating during quiet times.

  • Great suction
  • Low profile
  • Easy to set up and control
  • Smartphone app & Remote control
  • Compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant
  • A bit noisy
  • Brush roller could be a bit difficult to clean

Our Opinion

Much smarter than its smaller brother, Eufy RoboVac 30C is certainly worth the premium you must pay to enjoy its mighty suction. Operated both through a handy remote control and your smartphone, it will keep your personal space clean and shiny, and you won’t have to lift a finger!

6. Roborock S5 Robotic Vacuum and Mop Cleaner – The Versatile Choice

Roborock S5 Robotic Vacuum and Mop Cleaner
View on Amazon

Xiaomi’s Roborock S5 boasts monster-suction and immense versatility, coupled with excellent navigation, long battery life and moping capability! Let’s take a closer look.

At a Glance

  • Brand: Xiaomi Roborock
  • Model Number: S5
  • Weight: 3.5 Kg
  • Dimensions: 35 X 9.6 cm
  • Power / Wattage:
  • Noise Level: 68 dB
  • Battery Capacity: 5200 mAh
  • Runtime: 150 minutes
  • Charging Time: 240 min
  • Dust Box Capacity: 0.5 L
  • Water Tank Capacity: 140 ml
  • Suction: 1500 Pa
  • Special Features:
    Virtual boundaries Setting
    Zoned cleaning
    Washable HEPA
    LIDAR technology
    Real-time tracking
    Carpet identification
  • Package includes:
    Charging Dock
    Water Tank
    Mopping Pad
    User Manual

Design & Features

Design-wise, the circular Roborock S5 stands out only for its bright white colour (it comes in black too). The rest is pre is pretty standard, with a laser sensor in the centre and slightly higher profile than its competitors, it might be a bit harder to get under really low-clearance furniture, but that would hardly be frequent.

On the top, you will also find the Spot Clean button, activating one of its cleaning modes, a Recharge button, and the Power button. Underneath the lid, there is the 0.5-litre dustbin, a system reset button, and a brush cleaning tool.

The unit is equipped with a bumper and a wall sensor, as well as a speaker used for audio-alerts and announcements, and a water tank for one of its most amazing capabilities, the mopping mode.

Wi-Fi Connectivity and compatibility are awesome too. The S5 has its own dedicated app (available for Android and iOS), allowing you to control it through your smartphone, but the whole navigation and operation there is a bit problematic. The good news is that S5 is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice control. You don’t get a remote control, but you have a pair of virtual ones in the app.

S5 will capture your floor plan for each of your rooms using a sophisticated navigational laser sensor and thus make sure that not a single spot is left uncleaned! The Map Saving Mode enables you to create virtual barriers (No-Go Zones), outlining spots and areas you don’t want the vacuum to clean or move through. In addition to that, the Barrier Tape feature allows you to select rooms you don’t want the vacuum to enter.

You can also activate several other direct controls: using the “Go” option, you can actually send the unit to a specific spot, “Clean” initiates cleaning, and “Dock” will get it back to its station for a recharge. “Zone Clean-up” is designed to direct it specific areas you have selected – and these are just a glimpse of its wealth of features and capabilities that afford a truly magnificent cleaning efficiency.

Even in cramped and cluttered spaces, the S5 moved smoothly around or below any given obstacle, not missing a single spot. As to suction, a monstrous 2,000 pa is a guarantee of its own, all types of flooring and carpets – having a bit of noise as a drawback. Mopping is decent; it does not deliver the very deep clean that you get from manual mopping, but its ideal for refreshing the floor. Note though that carpet detection is deactivated during mopping.

  • Powerful suction
  • Capable of Mopping
  • Virtual barriers and sectioned-off zones
  • Long battery life
  • Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice control
  • The app could be a bit simpler
  • A bit noisy

Our Opinion

Xiaomi’s Roborock S5 is certainly not cheap, but no one could ever deny it is a genuine value-for-money option. Offering a monstrous suction power and being capable of mopping too, it promises a thorough clean of your personal space and prime efficiency. True, the controlling app could use an upgrade, but still, when you get the hang of it, it will literally change your life.

7. iRobot Roomba 960 Robot Vacuum Cleaner – The High-End Choice

  • Included in the Package:
    Home Base Charging Station
    Line Cord
1 Dual Mode Virtual Wall Barrier
    1 Extra Filter
    Extra Side Brush

Design & Features

There are so great things to say about iRobot Roomba 960 that it would be a shame to dwell on its shape and design, which are both well-studied. If we should mention something, it would be the camera embedded at the front of the unit, affording excellent navigation and control, as well as the numerous sensors identifying accumulated dirt and turning the unit towards it.

Wi-Fi connectivity is just amazing, allowing you to control the vacuum via its iRobot Home app (available for both iOS and Android). Recharging requires no more than three hours, and then your R960 is ready to roll. Either through your smartphone or via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands, you will be able to navigate the unit all around the house, under all or at least most of your furniture for a thorough clean. Even better, the unit can do all that by itself, since you can program it to initiate cleaning whenever you want, tell it where it to go or not go,  direct it to specific spots that need extra care and all sorts of ingenious staff that will make your household cleaning a breeze.

Among others, you can also dictate to R960 its type of cleaning, choosing between three cleaning-pass settings, namely One- or Two-cleaning pass, and Automatic, which leaves to the vacuum itself to decide how thorough the cleaning of a specific area, spot or room needs to be. The “Edge clean” feature also enables you to clean persistently along walls and around furniture legs, besides open space.

Movement from one type of flooring to the other is smooth, while the battery affords a runtime of 70 to 75 minutes, which, with its strong suction, floor mapping feature and fast movement are more than enough for most apartments. The noise is a bit loud (not irritatingly so though), and, contrary to most of robot vacuums, R960 does not allow manual navigation.

  • Fun to use
  • Amazing connectivity
  • Great app
  • Efficient cleaning
  • Great number of cleaning features
  • A bit noisy
  • Lacks manual navigation capability

Our Opinion

It does not strike as a surprise that Roomba has become synonymous with robot vacuum technology – and R960 is a prime example of its sophisticated and well-designed models. Mastering an assemble of fantastic features, it is a bit noisy but it will get the job done quickly and impeccably.
